Laundry Services | Terms and Conditions


Pick Up & Delivery Fee 

Self Driven : No extra charges will be applied if the customer handles the pickup and delivery by themselves.

iPROFIXER Driven: An additional transportation charge will be applied if iPROFIXER manage the pickup and delivery for the customer's convenience. The customer will be responsible for paying each time of pick up and delivery to the delivery personnel from 3rd parties (Lalamove, Grab, Hangers, or Others) or iPROFIXER.


All collections of goods must be accompanied by a bill/bill. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of goods if the customer fails to produce the bill/bills .

  • However, whoever produces this bill will be deemed the rightful owner. Should this be lost, a written report should be made to us where we reserve the right to demand such indemnity as we deem fit.
  • All customers are advised to check their clothes and pockets for any buttons, ornaments or valuables attached on left in them as we will not be responsible for them .
  • We are also responsible for the fastness of color and print , shrinkage,fading and discoloration due to defects of manufacture,inferior quality of material or deterioration caused by wear and tear and exposure.In particular,we are not liable for garments,which are wholly or partly made of natural silk or materials that have limited suitability for cleaning.
  • In the case of damage or loss due to our negligence,we will compensate you to the fair value of depreciation (due to fashion, age use) not exceeding 10 times the regular service charge for the article or whichever is less.
  • All stain removal and wet cleaning shall be done at the owner’s risk.
  • The customer shall be deemed to have approved of the goods on delivery and no claim shall be entertained by us once the goods have left our premises.
  • Kindly collect your goods within Thirty (30) days from the date of this bill for beyond that our responsibility ends and we are at liberty to dispose of the goods by public auction or private sale without further reference to you.
  • We are also not responsible for any loss or damage of goods caused by insects, civil commotion,war, fire, flood or any unforeseen circumstance whatsoever.

 

Service Agreement

By scheduling any service with iPROFIXER, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you (the customer) and iPROFIXER. It outlines the responsibilities and expectations of both parties, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding. The agreement aims to protect both your interests and those of iPROFIXER, establishing a foundation for a professional and trustworthy relationship.

Scope of Services

iPROFIXER offers a comprehensive range of handyman services designed to address a wide array of home maintenance and repair needs. Our services include, but are not limited to, plumbing repairs, electrical work, thorough cleaning services, caregiver support, painting, and general repairs. We are committed to meeting the diverse needs of our customers and are continually expanding our service offerings. If you have a specific service requirement that is not listed, please contact us to inquire if we can accommodate your needs. Our goal is to be your one-stop solution for all household maintenance and repair tasks.

Appointment Scheduling

Scheduling service appointments with iPROFIXER is designed to be as convenient and user-friendly as possible. Appointments can be booked through multiple channels to suit your preference:

  • Online via our website: Visit our website and use the online booking system to schedule your service at your convenience.
  • Through our mobile app: Download our user-friendly mobile app, which allows you to book services, manage appointments, and communicate with our team on the go.

When scheduling, please provide accurate and detailed information about the services you require. This ensures that our technicians are fully prepared and equipped to handle your service needs efficiently and effectively. You will receive a confirmation of your appointment through your preferred communication method, along with any necessary follow-up details.

Payment Terms

Payment for services rendered by iPROFIXER is due upon completion of the work. We offer multiple forms of payment to accommodate your preferences, including:

  • Cash: Pay directly to the technician upon completion of the service.
  • Bank Transfers (FPX): Transfer funds directly from your bank account. Please ensure the provided bank account information is accurate to avoid any transaction issues.
  • Electronic Payments (e-wallets): Use various e-wallets for quick and secure electronic payments.

Invoices and receipts will be provided upon payment for your records. Please note that iPROFIXER will not be liable for any issues arising from incorrect bank account details provided for transactions. Always double-check the information before completing a payment to ensure accuracy and avoid delays.

Service Guarantee

At iPROFIXER, we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction. We guarantee the quality of all repair services we provide. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us within 2 days of service completion. Our team will work diligently to address and resolve any issues to your satisfaction. This service guarantee is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our dedication to providing top-notch service to our customers.

Liability Waiver

While iPROFIXER endeavors to provide the highest quality of service, there are inherent risks involved in home maintenance and repair work. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge and accept that iPROFIXER is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the use of our services. This liability waiver includes, but is not limited to, accidental damage to property, personal injury, or any consequential losses that may arise during or after the provision of our services. It is important to understand this limitation of liability before engaging our services.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our services can be carried out efficiently and effectively. You are responsible for providing access to the premises where the service is to be performed. This includes:

  • Ensuring that necessary utilities (such as water and electricity) are available for our technicians to complete their work.
  • Removing any obstacles or hazards from the work area to ensure a safe environment for our technicians.
  • Communicating any special instructions or considerations to our team in advance to facilitate a smooth service experience.

Your cooperation and preparedness help us deliver the best possible service.

Modification of Terms

iPROFIXER reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via our website or through direct communication channels, such as email or notifications through our mobile app. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting. We encourage customers to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates or changes. Your continued use of our services following any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions. Cancellation & Refund Policy for Customers/Consumers:


iPROFIXER is the copyright brand of IPROS EDUCTECH SDN BHD. iPROFIXER reserves the right to update/change the policies anytime without prior information, based on internal, external, or statutory requirements. To make sure that you are aware of any changes, kindly review the policy periodically. If you do not agree to the policy, please do not use the iPROFIXER website or mobile application. Please read our policy carefully to get a clear understanding of cancellation procedures either by customer or by service provider and applicable cancellation charges.

Refund Policy
The customer is permitted to claim a refund from iPROFIXER for:

  • False Service
  • Incomplete job
  • Misbehaviour from the service provider.

    Customers can send a mail to for_services@iPROFIXER.com.my in within 5 days from the day of job delivery with the subject line “Job Reference #-Complaint Category”. iPROFIXER team will register the complaint and share the complaint number within 24 hours via mail/ text message. The customer will receive the final status of the claim within 7 working days via mail. If the refund request is approved by iPROFIXER grievance redressal officer, the refund amount will be credited to the customer’s wallet within 48 hours (excluding holidays). iPROFIXER reserves the right to approve or decline a refund request; a refund claim will be processed by gathering information about job delivery from the service provider. The status of the claim will be shared along with the reason for approval/decline with the customer via registered e-mail ID.
    Note: Refund policy applies only to e-wallet/online payment


Cancellation by Customer

  • Customer is allowed to cancel/reschedule the requests anytime through iPROFIXER platforms (Website/Mobile) or by coordination with our customer care.
  • Customer is allowed to cancel/reschedule the job request up to 1 hour before the scheduled job time (in case of a Scheduled Job) and within 30 minutes of the job request for on-time job delivery. Customer will be charged a cancellation fee or inconvenience fee as per iPROFIXER policy in each scenario.
  • The customer will be charged a minimum amount of transportation or other applicable charges if he cancels/reschedules the job request on arrival / before arrival of the service provider at the customer premises.
  • Continuous cancellations/rescheduling of job request or any malicious activities may attract suspension of service by iPROFIXER and further termination of the agreement with the customer.
  • The customer will not be charged for cancellation if the service provider is running late by more than 1 hour from the scheduled time. It is appreciated to consider geographical factors such as traffic conditions, accessibility, and climate conditions before cancelling the request.
  • Due to any unforeseen circumstances or internal reasons, iPROFIXER reserves the right to cancel any job request at any point of time with due communication to the customer and will not be liable to anyone for the same.
  • The customer is not allowed to cancel/reschedule more than three job requests a day. Customer accounts may be suspended from future service for the continuation of any such activities.

 

Product Delivery

Products or materials required for your service appointment will be delivered directly to the job site. Our team will coordinate with you to ensure that all necessary items are delivered in a timely manner. We work with reputable suppliers to source high-quality materials that meet our service standards. Upon placing an order, our logistics team will confirm the details with you, including the delivery address, preferred delivery time, and any specific instructions you may have to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Delivery Timeframe

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability and your location. Our team will provide an estimated delivery timeframe at the time of booking. We strive to deliver all materials promptly, but unforeseen circumstances such as supplier delays, shipping issues, or inclement weather may affect delivery schedules. If a required item is not available through iPROFIXER, it is the customer's responsibility to procure the necessary product or material. We recommend confirming the availability of items with our team prior to scheduling your service to avoid any delays. In cases where products are back-ordered or unavailable, our team will communicate alternative solutions or suitable replacements to ensure your project progresses without unnecessary interruptions.

 

Delivery Confirmation

To ensure the safe and accurate receipt of your materials or products, a signature may be required upon delivery. This confirmation process helps us verify that the correct items have been delivered to the right location. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for the delivery at the scheduled time. If you are unable to be present, please designate an authorized representative to accept the delivery on your behalf. This representative should be familiar with the order and able to verify that all items are in good condition upon arrival. Our delivery team will provide you with a delivery note outlining the items delivered and any relevant details for your records.

 

Damaged Shipments

If you receive damaged or defective products, please contact us immediately for assistance. Our customer support team is available to help you address any issues related to damaged shipments. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, which may include replacing the damaged items or offering a suitable alternative. To expedite the resolution process, please provide detailed information about the damage, including photographs and descriptions of the affected items. Our priority is to ensure that you receive high-quality materials that meet your expectations, and we are committed to addressing any concerns you may have promptly and effectively.

Service Guarantee

iPROFIXER guarantees the quality of your workmanship for repair services. If a client claims that problems remain after your repair, you must address and rectify the issue within 2 days at your own cost. This service guarantee underscores our dedication to customer satisfaction and our confidence in the quality of services provided by our team. This commitment means that any shortcomings in your work should be promptly corrected, demonstrating your accountability and dedication to client satisfaction. This policy not only reassures our clients of the reliability of our services but also motivates you to perform each task to the best of your ability.

Appointment Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled online through our website, via phone, or using our mobile app. Once you receive an assigned order, you are required to accept or reject it within 72 hours. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the order being automatically removed. Prompt acceptance or rejection of orders ensures efficient scheduling and service delivery for our clients. This system allows for optimal resource allocation and planning, ensuring that clients receive timely services and that you have a manageable workload. Clear communication regarding your availability and timely responses to scheduling requests are crucial to maintaining operational efficiency.

Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion. You can receive your earnings as cash for cash-on-delivery (COD) jobs or withdraw them via Bank Transfers (FPX) and electronic payments (e-wallets). It is crucial to provide accurate bank account information for transactions. iPROFIXER will not be liable for issues arising from incorrect bank account details. Ensuring accuracy in your payment details helps avoid delays and ensures you receive your earnings promptly. Detailed records of payments and transactions should be maintained for your financial management and tax purposes. Understanding and complying with our payment processes is essential for smooth financial operations.

Liability Waiver

iPROFIXER is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the provision of our services. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and accept this limitation of liability during or after the provision of services. It is important to carry out your tasks with the utmost care and professionalism to minimize any risks or potential liabilities. Additionally, understanding and following safety protocols and industry standards will help prevent accidents and ensure the safety of both you and the clients.

Modification of Terms

iPROFIXER reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Cancellation & Refund Policy for Service Providers/Professionals:

Cancellation by Service Provider

As per iPROFIXER Policy, cancellation of a job request by a service provider after accepting the job request initiated by the customer through iPROFIXER platform is forbidden. The service provider has agreed to accept the iPROFIXER terms and conditions clauses of the agreement during the on-boarding process. Any violation to the agreement may attract a penalty or suspension of contract and further termination of the agreement with the service provider.

  • Service Provider is allowed to cancel maximum 3 requests a day. More than 3 cancellations may attract penalty for inconvenience to customer as per the agreement with iPROFIXER.
  • Service Provider is allowed to cancel a job before three hours from the scheduled time for scheduled job request, job cancellation is not permitted for on-time job request. A minimum amount of penalty will be deducted from the provider's balance for that.
  • Cancellation of job requests or any misbehaviour with customers may attract reduction in ratings and penalties. These activities may force termination of agreement with service provider.
  • Service provider needs to provide the reason for cancelling job while reverting to iPROFIXER. These reasons will be saved in service provider’s record for performance analysis.
  • Service provider is allowed cancel the job on reschedule of job request by customer, based on contract rules applicable as per iPROFIXER agreement.

Product Delivery 

When it comes to fulfilling client service requirements, iPROFIXER ensures a seamless process for delivering necessary products or materials. For items weighing 2 kg or more, our team takes the initiative to transport them directly to the designated job site. This proactive approach alleviates any burden on the client and streamlines the service process for enhanced efficiency and convenience.

 

Delivery Timeframe

While we aim for prompt delivery, the timeframe can vary based on factors such as product availability and logistical considerations. In cases where an item is temporarily out of stock, clients are encouraged to make alternative arrangements for acquiring the required product to avoid delays in their project timelines.

 

Delivery Confirmation

To maintain the integrity of our delivery process, we may request a signature upon receipt of materials or products. This confirmation serves as a crucial checkpoint to ensure that the correct items have been delivered to the specified location. By requiring confirmation, we aim to provide clients with peace of mind and reinforce our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable service.

Handling Damaged Shipments

While every effort is made to ensure the safe transport of items, unforeseen incidents such as damage or defects may occur during shipment. In the unfortunate event of a damaged shipment, clients should promptly notify us. However, it's important to note that any costs associated with damaged or defective products will be the responsibility of the client. iPROFIXER cannot assume liability for damages sustained during transit but will work diligently to address the issue and facilitate a resolution in a timely manner.
